GLP-1 & peptide therapies explained
How GLP-1s and Weight Loss Peptides Work
GLP-1 and peptide therapies are prescription treatments that support medically guided weight loss by regulating appetite and digestion. They help reduce hunger, control cravings, and slow gastric emptying so you feel fuller for longer.
Alongside this, peptide treatments can help enhance fat metabolism and preserve or gain lean muscle during weight loss.
Together, these therapies make it easier to maintain a reduced-calorie intake consistently over time, supporting improved body composition compared to traditional weight loss approaches.
The result is improved appetite control, better adherence, and more sustainable fat loss.
All treatments require a medical consultation and eligibility assessment before prescribing.

FAQs
GLP-1 & peptide FAQs
We primarily use clinically approved GLP-1 therapies such as semaglutide (e.g. Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (e.g. Mounjaro), where medically appropriate.
In some cases, we may include supportive peptide-based protocols as part of a broader medical plan. These are used to support recovery, metabolic function, and overall treatment outcomes where clinically appropriate.
Common side effects may include nausea, reduced appetite, bloating, or mild gastrointestinal changes, especially during dose adjustments. Most effects are temporary and improve over time.
Weight loss varies, but a typical target range is around 0.5% to 1.5% of body weight per week, primarily from fat loss when combined with appropriate lifestyle support.
Compounded medications are prescription treatments prepared by licensed pharmacies based on a doctor’s instructions. They may be used when clinically appropriate and can offer a more cost-effective option compared to standard branded medications.
Treatment duration varies. Some patients transition to maintenance phases, while others continue longer under medical supervision depending on their goals and response.
Most GLP-1 medications are administered weekly, but exact dosing schedules depend on the specific medication and individual treatment plan.
Retatrutide is still in clinical development and not yet approved for general medical use. We only use clinically appropriate, regulated treatments prescribed under medical supervision.
