At Doctors 365 we offer confidential testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs/STIs). We use the latest testing methods to accurately diagnose STI / STDs and provide effective treatment options. We understand the need for patient confidentiality and your privacy will be ensured during the consultation. How does the testing work? Testing for STIs can involve a urine test, blood test or swab of the affected area. Typically men will require a blood and urine sample whereas women will need a blood sample and a swab. The samples are collected on-site. A healthcare provider will assist with the sample collection, we also allow for self-swabbing if necessary. We test for specific infections based on your symptoms, treatment is started ahead of time to cover for the vast majority of infections whilst we wait for confirmatory results. We also offer screening tests if you suspect you've been exposed to an STD/STI but do not yet have symptoms. ​ Cost of testing? STI package includes: HEP B SURFACE Ag SYPHILIS HIV Elisa HERPES GONORRHEA CHLAMYDIA This package costs R1250 (R1000 without HIV). Medical Aids are charged according to Medical Aid tariffs. We can order additional tests for other organisms as required. HIV pre and post-exposure prophylaxis We specialize in providing crucial HIV prevention services through PEP and PrEP treatments. Time sensitivity is key if you believe you have been exposed to HIV, please seek assistance promptly to ensure that your are elligble for PEP treatment.
